Hair at home care
Upon receiving your bundle/bundles rinse the hair under warm water to remove conditioner that was added during the inspection process. Please keep the rubber or plastic security band around the bundle during this process to to ensure that no tangling occurs. Be sure to comb through the hair with a vented, paddle brush or run your fingers through the hair.
Laythe hair out to air dry. Once dry, the hair should be tangle and shed-free. If there are any problems during this pre-installation process, please contact us immediately.
We stand behind the quality of our hair 100%. In the rare case that you experience any excessive matting, shedding or tangling within the first week due to a manufacturing issue, please contact us for further consultation. During the consultation we may recommend that the installation be removed and returned to the company for inspection and testing.
To maintain the integrity of the bundles fold the wefts rather than cutting individual tracks. When this technique is performed it will prevent shedding.
Machine Wefted Hair: When installing wefted extensions with a needle, it is recommended that you sew around the weft rather than through. Putting a needle through the weft will weaken the structure and cause shedding.
Bulk Hair: All Indique hair is cut from a single donor, cuticles intact, with all hairs facing the same direction from root to tip. Therefore, always pull hair from the top where it is tied with the rubber band. NEVER take hair from the bottom of the bundle. Taking strands from the bottom will cause the hair to be inverted and result in matting and tangling.
